Music
Rhydian

To perfect his debut effort, Rhydian worked with an array of producers, with mentors including Steve Mac, Desmond Child, Quiz & Larossi, Per Magnusson and David Kreuger.
An array of original tracks were written especially for Rhydian, including the heart-stirring ‘I’m Coming Home Again’ and the stunning lead single ‘The Impossible Dream’.
The album also features his showstoppers from the X Factor, Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, West Side Story’s ‘Somewhere’ and ‘What If, a fantastic duet with Broadway star Idina Menzel.
Rhydian commented, “You can’t rush a good album; we wanted to make something timeless, full of great songs, not just an X Factor tribute.” Rhydian added: “Whatever song I sing, I try to put my own stamp on it. I am classically trained, but I don’t regard myself as an opera singer. I quite like the fact that I don’t fit into any particular style. I just try and connect with a song myself and then, if I’m moved, I can actually make a magnetic connection with an audience.”

I’ve just received my copy of the album here in Australia. I love it, and I’m looking forward both to the next album, and to the day I can see Rhydian live out here.

When I need inpiration I think of Rhydian and playing his CD gives me the boost and passion to succeed . It’s almost tearful to listen to his voice especially ” I’m coming home again ” one of the most talented young persons I have had the experience of seeing ( at Reading ) and listening to . I am proud to be a member of his rather special fans , proud of his achievements and don’t want his to be mass media raver , continue to be the Rhydian we all love and admire - a stable , talented , educated and good looking young man
