Rhydian

Rhydian

To perfect his debut effort, Rhydian worked with an array of producers, with mentors including Steve Mac, Desmond Child, Quiz & Larossi, Per Magnusson and David Kreuger.

An array of original tracks were written especially for Rhydian, including the heart-stirring ‘I’m Coming Home Again’ and the stunning lead single ‘The Impossible Dream’.

The album also features his showstoppers from the X Factor, Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, West Side Story’s ‘Somewhere’ and ‘What If, a fantastic duet with Broadway star Idina Menzel.

Rhydian commented, “You can’t rush a good album; we wanted to make something timeless, full of great songs, not just an X Factor tribute.” Rhydian added: “Whatever song I sing, I try to put my own stamp on it.  I am classically trained, but I don’t regard myself as an opera singer. I quite like the fact that I don’t fit into any particular style. I just try and connect with a song myself and then, if I’m moved, I can actually make a magnetic connection with an audience.”

Tracks

  1. The Impossible Dream
  2. To Where You Are
  3. What If
  4. The Prayer
  5. Bridge over Troubled Water
  6. There will be a Time
  7. Somewhere
  8. Not a Dry Eye in the House
  9. I Believe
  10. I’m Coming Home Again
  11. Who Wants to Live Forever?

Wish we could see more of you. Your rendition of Phantom of the Opera made the hair on the back of my neck stand on end, hope you will record it. I have never phoned a show before but had to when I heard you sing. You are probably one of the most understated talents of our time. I can only hope that one day you will be seen for the super star that you are. Roll over Il Divo

back again to say your albem is still the best one i have you never get tired listening to it.It is only one year ago you started all thiswell done. I said before xfactor lost its sparkle this year;ALL because we had you last year to look   forward to hear you sing and watch the show you put on.  This years finale was boring no excitment I could not find anyone to vote for . No one compared to you vocaly songs boring. there is only one of you and the show will never sparkle because you had to fight your way through and we all fought with you and you shone like a star;  leaving all the rest   to say sorry to you revenge is sweet,  Keep going ryd we are all behind you love you xx

Rhydian, I truly love your voice and your personality.  The tone of your voice is amazing and effortless.  You are the overall x-factor winner to me.  Please, please come to Bradford Alhambra.  Your songs are beautiful.  On the next album please could we have “Phantom of the Opera” as sung on X-factor.  Thank you for arriving.

Timeless, Beautiful, Gorgeous and Heartfelt. This is how I see you and your music. I learned about you by mistake while looking for Leona on your UK show. Your voice drew me in and every song you sang gave me chills beyond belief and when I seen your video, The Impossible Dream not only did I get chills for some reason the tears started! If you can make a person cry from one of your songs, you have an amazing talent. You will be around for a very long time and I am glad it is within my lifetime. I can only wish you the VERY best in your future and can only hope you keep on producing such beautiful music. A friend and fan in the States. Thank You Rhydian
