I see from the Live Appearances on the Home Page that Rhydian is appearing at Porthcawl on 4th September. At 4.48pm?
Anyone have any other information about this ?

Its Porthcawl Male Choir and Rhydian is appearing in their Annual Celebrity Concert on that date at The Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl.

It still says details to follow on their website too.  We’ll just have to keep looking.

(BTW 4:48 was the time admin put the info up - the Classic Response listing was 4:41, and Classic FM Live was 4:29)

I thought that timing was peculiar !! Hope that choir doesn’t grab all the tickets like Ebbw Vale !!

Our normal complaints when Rhydian performances appear on website is how short notice, or no notice at all Its actually refreshing to know of long term dates far ahead so fans can plan their holidays etc around a confirmed date. Some people will get tickets and sort accomidation now, chalk on calendar and relax, knowing they have an outing planned later in the year.

This was ringing a bell, so I did a bit of trawling and found a post under ‘Ask Rhydian’ thread. On 4th Dec.last year, Porthcawl Choir posted asking Rhyd to join them at their concert 1st or 2nd Saturday in September. I’d love to go and it’s not very far from where I live but as it’s quite a small venue I think tickets will be hard to come by.

Brilliant memory, Moggie !!  You’re right, because I passed the message on to him and that’s where it came from, and I know Pep did all sorts of e-mailing to sort that one out !  Great to know it got arranged.

As its on a Saturday I’m going to try my hardest to get tickets for this one.  Hope its not long before we hear some news.
