I see from the Live Appearances on the Home Page that Rhydian is appearing at Porthcawl on 4th September. At 4.48pm?
Anyone have any other information about this ?

I’m so sorry everyone, I have just noticed that Rhydian’s Blog which can be found on the home site page of http://www.rhydian-roberts.co.uk, gives permission for it to be posted on all other Rhydian sites. So here it is, better late than never !!

Saturday 3rd April

Hiya! Hope you’re all happy and well. I want to start by wishing you all a very happy Easter!

I went home to Wales last week for my Dads birthday and had such a lovely time with the family. It was so relaxing, just what I needed.We went shopping in Hay-on-Wye, went out for some gorgeous food and met up with some family friends. It really is the small things in life which makes me feel most at peace and content!

I also attended a friends wedding in Llandeilo whilst I was in Wales.To my amazement, Prince Harry was also there, one of the guards of honour no less!
We caught up after the service by the bar. (as you do…!)

I’m pleased to report that ‘The war of the worlds’ team are so lovely and it’s a pleasure to be involved with such committed, enthusiastic people. We only begin rehearsals a week before we go on stage so plenty more things on the cards before then. Watch this space!

On Thursday 19th August you will be able to hear a part of a longer interview Rhydian gave to 10radio, a small community radio station in somerset. It will be just after 7.30am on http://www.10radio.org The full interview will be available later on the same station.

West end show “Sondheim on Sondheim” October.

Rhydian just said in an interview on Radio 5 Live today that he is going into the West End show “Sondheim on Sondheim” for a short while in October. Also talked about War of the Worlds and mentioned We Will Rock You. Also said he is recording a new album different to his last one.

Looks like he’ll be at the Ryder Cup in Celtic Manor:

He said the event is expected to host Sir Terry Matthews, the First Minister and the singer Rhydian with other VIPs confirmed nearer the time.

My name is Jacs and I was due to sing Benedictus with you on Friday night is Music night last December (The one that was cancelled due to the snow) I have been BBC Radio Chorister of the Year. I have been told that the show is not now likely to be re-scheduled. It has been a very busy year for me on Radio2 and 4 and I am on Songs of praise for Children in need on 21st october. Like you, I am applying for one of the Colleges this September as well. I Watch your career with interest - super it is going so well. If ever you need someone to sing Benedictus with, and Dame Kiri isn’t available, I would be delighted.

Have just noticed the rambling random chat thread has gone….

So here is another.

Am now a little out of my comfort zone as far as home study is concerned (not that I ever was or ever will be an Egyptology expert ) Anyway, after finally finishing my last course with an A *polishes invisible badge* I am now doing a course to be a marking tutor. Part A of course arrived today and it’s a bit like one of those horrid courses they make you go on in work…. Time Management and Communication and stuff. Thankfully I’ve been on some of those courses so I’m hoping that that will help along with my previous Psychology studies and basic knowledge of NLP.

So if you see me loitering on here or elsewhere for hours on end please tell me to go and work on an assignment.. the quicker I finish this then the quicker I can do some marking
