RHYDIAN SIGNS WITH INDEPENDENT LABEL
While with Sony Rhydian was focused on classical crossover material. After 2 years - which had seen him work with 'royalty' like Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Karl Jenkins and Walter Afanasieff (and for royalty at Windsor Castle) - he wanted more.

Ever the unpredictable one, he chose to sign with a small independent record label so he could make the music he wanted. Owner of Conehead UK, Graham Stokes, said "Plenty of bigger labels were trying to get his signature but we were able to convince him of our commitment and, more importantly, the complete freedom we would allow him to make the kind of record he wants to make".
